We came across this place where we had a great Bloody Mary! The decor was nicely done, a good view out the front window for people watching. Super friendly staff and the menu looked good (unfortunately we had already eaten). We enjoyed all the music they played as well! There's also an outdoor terrace overlooking the high street if you're eating.
Visited bank holiday Monday with family. Such a great set up, friendly and relaxed. Food was lovely, 100% recommend!
Great cosy casual feel in a quirky ski lidge setting. Greeted by friendly staff and shown upstairs to our table. Tables nicely spaced apart. Delicious juicy Sirloin of beef served with lots of vegetables for our Sunday roast. Look forward to returning.
I booked a table upstairs for Sunday lunch over the bank holiday weekend for 5 ladies celebrating a birthday. The food was fantastic, it came out quickly, was beautifully cooked and the presentation was great. 4 of us had the roast beef and 1 had the roasted butternut squash and we shared side dishes of cauliflower cheese. All of the food was outstanding. The staff were lovely, really friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the music playing, the decor and general atmosphere. We are not local and were staying in the area and had booked The Rock Lodge based on a Google and Trip Advisor search. We highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again when in the area.
Nice food, good drinks and always friendly bar staff! A local favourite! Had one of the nicest expresso martinis in here this week. Definitely worth a visit!
Sunday roast was really nice and flavourful, attention to detail on all the sides and the service & staff were lovely. Definitely one of the best places in Whitstable for a roast dinner
I’ve only came to hide from the wind and rest for a bit during my last minute visit to Whitstable from London but I was very impressed by how friendly the staff was and how cosy the bar is. I only had a pint but the food looks delicious
